It was a battle of short-stacks, as the Gundam point leaders all took early hits to their stack, leaving them in survival mode for a good part of the tournament. Meanwhile, DeckHole, jumped out with a point lead and Godel was down to 50bb fairly quickly. With TimTheGreat building his stack to get a jump on the other point leaders, TLS33 loomed in the background. It was duck-and-cover with occasional sniper attacks from TimTheGreat, Mag Kirwin and ScottChamp who jockeyed for position as they were looking to take the 25WSOG Championship crown. Seemingly, Godel was down-for-the-count.
However, surviving like a roach was K. Godel. Nursing a short-stack for almost the entire tournament, he refused to get snuffed. Though it took a 2-out spike on the river to keep him alive at one point. Eventually, TimTheGreat seemed to have things in control, until K. Godel managed to collect some chips with a good run, while TimTheGreat hit a rough patch at the end, eventually taking 3rd.
TLS3 eventually snuffed out Godel for the victory and the bounty, but not before Godel got the Chip & Chair bonus and enough points to be crowned the 2025 Gundam Champion.
