The WSOG ’26 Third Event dropped in participation slightly (16 players), but still had 21 buy-ins with both TimGreat and ScottRigged leap frogging Godly for a 1st place tie.
With a few new rules in 2026 and a hopeful increase in participation, the 2026 season went off without a hitch. A few of the new rules are:
- Only 11 of the 12 Events will be counted towards the final Gundam Point Total
- In order to (by default) enter a tournament late a player must pre-register for the tournament.
- Bounty points awarded are NOT also subtracted from the Gundam Point Leader. This allows for a bounty to be placed on the ‘participating’ player with the most bounty points (not necessarily the Gundam point leader.) It also allowed for a bounty to be placed on the 1st event of the year.
- Start times have changed to 8:30 PM EST
- Tie for 1st place will result in a match-up to determine the Gundam Champion.
- A new event “Hold’em Recharge” has been added.
