After a hard fought 3-way battle between Hoffman, Sudduth & M.Braswell, Hoffman’s All-In with [Ad Kd] gets brutalized by Braswell’s [Ah Ts] when a Ten-of-Diamonds hits the flop, a Nine-of-Diamonds on the turn gives Hoffman a flush draw, but the brick river puts Hoffman out in 3rd.

Sudduth, starting with a small stack (< 1/4 of the chips) and going heads-up against Mighty-Matt (who has been dominating the cash and tournaments games for weeks), battled back for the chip lead. After several lead changes, Sudduth finished off Braswell with an all-in [Ad 2c] Vs. Braswell’s sweet looking [7h 6h]. An ace hit the flop, having Braswell drawing thin and not recovering.

McClary shows his tournament skills and Badugi know-how by dominating Event #04 in the World Series of Gundam. He took control early and only gave up the lead for a few rounds. He and Sudduth got heads-up where he finished off Sudduth (who has placed 2nd in every Tournament he’s played this year, a decent feat in itself). Berg finally racks up a few Gundam Points by being getting the Baller Hand Bonus. Decker and McClary split the High Hand, and Sudduth gets the Bad Beat. But as for the the tournament, it wasn’t really ever very close… McClary had the Badugi know-how and never relinquished control.

The winning hand in the WSOG #04 Event was a good 3-card 53A against Sudd’s pretty decent 3-ca

WSOG Event #2 is in the Books!

This Pot-Limit Omaha Tournament didn’t have a lot of show-downs and didn’t have any Quads nor where there any weak showdowns.

Meyer went from last place in WSOG Event #1 to first place in WSOG Event #2. He laid a few beats on folks, and bullied the rest. In the end, Sudduth’s set couldn’t hold up against Meyer’s flush draw and Sudduth had to settle for 2nd place. No one is running away, with 1/2 the players within 3 points of each other!

Berg managed to be on the bubble again, but his high position in both tournaments put him in 2nd place in Gundam Points. Can he win yet another Gundam Championship? We will have to see!
